First off, this thing is HUGE! I love that the side pockets fill with sand to keep from flying away and how easy it is to stuff back in and put away.. Its definitley machine wash safe (use cool water to prevent the material from getting messed up) and it doesn't get that wet towel smell if being used multiple times during a trip..
