Older picture books have better stories and hand drawn illustrations

Fun to read aloud, old-school, easy read by Diane DeGroat about classroom friendships, honesty, kindness, and fixing mistakes. K-2nd grade will enjoy.
So many of todayās childrenās books lack depth, depend on dumb fart/poop jokes, are tied to tv shows/movies, or overfocus on moralizing and turning kids into little adults. Read for fun with your kids as often as you can! Check out childrenās authors/illustrators from the 80ās and 90ās!
