We traveled all over Italy and these worked perfectly everywhere. All the ports were helpful and reduced the number of adapters we needed. We brought a 2-prong style as well, that had larger posts and was supposed to be equally universal but it was definitely not. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and recommend you skip the 2 prong style. The only other consideration is that when you unplug a lamp or something else to use the plug then you may want an additional way to plug the lamp back in and the additional US outlets on the side wonโ€™t help, since the lamp will the the same European 3 prong plug. That would definitely be a bulky adapter, but might be worth having one in the group.
