Kawano prints were not dated. Both the print and black painted wood frame are in excellent, vintage condition. Print includes the artist's seal however I don't see a visible signature. Kaoru Kawano (1916 1965) was a woodblock print artist born in Hokkaido, Japan. He studied at the Kawabata Art School in the1930s. In the 1950s, he gained an
