This is a great modern version of the New Testament, Psalms, Proverbs and Song of Songs. After buying one for myself, I bought one for a friend. She and I both love using it for Bible study. I plan to buy the Old Testament books they have versions for as well. I include a photo of a portion of 1 Corinthians 13, so you can see how it compares to other versions. Also, at the beginning of each book, there is an at-a-glance section, about section and a couple more pages with info about the book and context. There are notes at the bottom of each page to show similar translations for the words or an explanation of what its context is.

After using only the KJV all my growing up years, I am learning so much from this Passion Translation as it has study references to refer to for more help in addition to the helpful verse Translation. It does NOT have the Old Testament included but Psalms, Proverbs, and Song of Solomon is included.
