These were standardized on April 21, 1939, and quickly became a favorite among American airmen. It is constructed of shearling, with horsehide trim and a stiff leather visor. Good quality. Solid copper, not that cca bs. Stiff and durable insulation. Used for big 3 car audio grounds on high output alternator. Great results. Will mention that it’s not as thick as some other brands but not by much. Terminals still crimped tightly with 1/0 gauge
