08/05/Imperial Taper Lock Bush 2012Taper Lock bushes are suitable for use with Sprockets, Belt Pulleys & couplings Taper lock bushes are used to secure Taper Lock Pulleys, Sprockets or Couplings to Shafts. The Taper lock Bush fits into the hub with 2 grub screws, as the grub screws are tightened the Taper lock compresses onto the shaft and keyway securing the Pulley Sprocket. To remove the bush, you remove the 2 grub screws and screw one back into the third hole, lifting the bush out.

I really wanted to love these, and I *almost* did. They are comfortable and cute. But they are a little wide across the mid-foot so they were a little sloppy on my feet. The platform is quite high, and while at 5'3" I appreciated the extra height, between that and being too wide, I felt they were an accident waiting to happen. If they were slightly more narrow and a little lower, I would have been in love, but I had to return them. They seem true to size except for the extra width.
