This power strip surge protector features seven handy outlets; number seven (at the end) is a wider plug surrounding that works wonders for plugging in that bulky AC adaptors that tend to take up so much space otherwise. Its twelve foot cord allows easy extending that is almost as large as most rooms. The red on/off tap button glows a pretty reddish/orange when lit, but does tap on and off rather easily, so it's best to either mount it on the wall or low on the wall/floor molding, or have it somewhere where the button will not be easily tapped, otherwise everything goes off. The little Green LED light at the top of the switch ensures you that everything is in working order. We had a pretty bad electrical storm not long after ordering this product and when all of the other lights in the house dimmed, the Television set didn't flicker, so at $21 dollars, I feel that it has already paid for itself. One last note, for all those who are concerned with having only, or prefer, "Green" products, this power strip is ROHS Compliant; meaning it meets all requirements under the California Compliance Code.
